Assignment of Functions (Minister of Agriculture, Mechanisation and Irrigation Development) Notice, 2014 (S.I. No. 9 of 2014).

This Notice of the President assigns to the Minister of Agriculture, Mechanisation and Irrigation Development - (a) the administration of the Acts set out in the Schedule; and (b) the functions conferred or imposed on the Minister save to the extent that those functions have not been assigned to some other Minister. The list of Scheduled Acts includes the Agriculture and Rural Development Authority Act, the Agricultural Marketing Authority Act, Animal Health Act, Fertilisers, Farm Feeds and Remedies Act, the Plant Breeders Rights Act, the Plant Pests and Diseases Act, the Seeds Act and various other Acts relating to agricultural development, agricultural sectors and animal and plant health.
