Assignment of Functions (Minister of Rural Development, Promotion and Preservation of Traditional Cultural Heritage) Notice, 2016 (S.I. 69 of 2016).

This Notice of the President assigns to the Minister of Rural Development, Promotion and Preservation of Historical Cultural Heritage - (a) the administration of the Acts set out in the Schedule; and (b) the functions conferred or imposed on the Minister save to the extent that those functions have not been assigned to some other Minister. The list of Acts of the Schedule includes the Rural District Councils Act, the Traditional Leaders Act and the National Museums and Monuments Act.
