Forest (Control of Timber) (Export of Unprocessed and Primarily Processed Indigenous Hardwoods) (Amendment) Regulations, 2020 (No. 1).

These Regulations amend the Forest (Control of Timber) (Export of Unprocessed and Primarily Processed Indigenous Hardwoods) Regulations, 2001 (S. I. 112 of 2001). Section 3 is amended to prohibit export of all species of indigenous trees in unprocessed and primarily processed form. A new section 4 is added providing for penalty and seizure of consignment of unprocessed or primarily processed indigenous trees destined for export.
