Abstract
These Regulations are made in terms of section 79 of the Forest Act [Chapter 125] relating to forest produce. Section 4 provides for agreements and licences for felling, cutting, taking, or removing any forest produce. Section 5 allows for felling of trees under a licence and the species and sizes of trees and the numbers or volume shall be specified in the licence. Section 6 contains procedure for measurement of timber. Section 7 prohibits removal of any forest produce without being measured by a forest officer unless authorised otherwise in the licence.
