Guidelines for Conducting Trials for Cattle Acaricides in Zimbabwe.

This document provides guidance on how to study efficacy of acaricides used in cattle ticks that need animal involvement for completing their life cycle. It lays down the procedure for registration of veterinary medicines and submission of Dipping Trial Protocol applications. Further, it contains information on conducting cattle dipping trials and submission of reports to the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe and Department of Veterinary Services. The requirements for submission of trial protocol and protocol results are also provided. It lays down the specific requirements and trial protocol for different types of Acaricides.
