Guidelines on operating Veterinary Medicines General Dealers’ Shop.

These Guidelines are made by the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe and are applicable to Veterinary Medicines General Dealers (VMGD) approved by MCAZ and person aspiring to operate VMGD outlets. Guidance is included for application for a VMGD permit, criteria for premises and conditions for sale of medicines. The Guidelines also provide information in respect of handling of products, documentation and records, sale of counterfeit medicines, and the various offences and penalties under the Medicines and Allied Substance Control Act and regulations thereunder.
