Revised Guidelines on the Import and Export of Registered Medicines.

These Guidelines provide for the information relating to form and procedure of application for an import or export permit for Medicines, issuing of permits, conditions and validity thereof. They also provide for permitted ports of entry, procedure for clearing consignments and verification. The responsibilities of various stakeholders including the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe, importer, exporter and port health officials are laid out. Explanation regarding Import Alerts in respect of substandard/falsified, adulterated, misbranded, unapproved/unregistered and illegal imports is also provided.
