Abstract
An Act to make provision for the control of production of sugarcane and sugar.
The Act consists of 22 sections divided into 4 Parts: Preliminary (I); Control of sugar manufacture (II); Control of sugar cane production (III); General (IV).
Millers shall obtain a licence under section 3. The Minister may fix the quantity of sugar to be produced under section 5. Millers may not sell sugar in excess of the quota assigned to them. Section 10 concerns the determination of prices for sugar cane delivered by private owners. Section 11 provides for the licensing of growers of sugar cane. The Minister may, by Order, fix the quantity of sugarcane delivered by a grower to a miller (sect. 13). Section 18 sets out regulation making powers of the Minister.

An Act to provide for the control and regulation of the manufacture of sugar and the delivery of sugar cane for manufacture in Zimbabwe; to fix the price to be paid for sugar cane; and to provide for other matters connected with and incidental to the foregoing.
