Abstract
This Act provides for the continuing in existence of the Central Africa Power Corporation as the Zambezi River Authority (sect. 4.1). The composition, functions, administration, financing, procedure, privileges, and immunities of the Authority are prescribed in the Agreement on the utilization of the Zambezi River concluded between Zambia and Zimbabwe (sect. 4.2). The Authority shall transfer assets, liabilities and obligation to the national electricity undertakings of the two countries (sect. 4.2). (9 sections)

An Act to enable effect to be given to certain provisions of an inter-State agreement relating to the utilization of the Zambezi River concluded between the governments of the Republics of Zimbabwe and Zambia; and to provide for matters incidental to or connected with the foregoing.
