The housing sector plays a pivotal role in the socio-economic development of the country. As the population grows, there a need to effectively manage the sector through key pieces of legislation for efficient delivery. The lack of sanity in the sector consequently affects the environment due to poor management and use of land and other resources. There is need for funds to facilitate drafting of the Housing Bill which will guide development of legislations incorporating environmental frameworks.
