The strategy identified policy and regulatory framework as one of the activities to achieve sound management of chemicals and waste in line with international best available practices.
Per this the Authority has identified the development of an Industrial and Consumer chemicals as a secondary legislation to implement the Environmental Protection Act, 2025. And also strengthen the implementation of environmental law in Ghana by developing a strategy to educate the citizenry after the passage of the law.
