Abstract
This Decree approves the Regulation on substances depleting the ozone layer and other fluorinated greenhouse gases. This Regulation, consisting of 14 articles and four Annexes, is developed in accordance with the Law on atmospheric pollution and noise, approved by the General Council on 30 December 1985, regulating potentially contaminating activities damaging the atmosphere. It regulates the production, import, export, placing on the market, use, manipulation, recovery, recycling, regeneration and destruction of substances that deplete the ozone layer, regulated by the Convention of Vienna and the Montreal Protocol. It applies also to specific fluorinated greenhouse gases, as well as products and devices containing or depending on them. The placing on the market and the use of regulated substances with the exception of exceptional cases is prohibited, as long as they do authorized companies.
