Decree of 12-12-2018 amending the Decree approved on 27 June 2018 establishing measures for the prevention, control and fight against infectious bovine rhinotracheitis.

Abstract
This Decree aims to eradicate infectious bovine rhinotracheitis on the basis of the following measures: a) The collection of epidemiological data relating to the IBR that allow the monitoring of farms of cattle; b) Vaccination of animals, in those situations where this is necessary; c) The classification of farms in the categories of free or not free from IBR; d) The application of restrictive measures to the movement of animals.
The Decree establishes mandatory prevention measures as well as recommended prevention measures.
It also regulates the control measures and disposes that the controls of the animals in the Principality of Andorra are carried out by official veterinarians of the Veterinary Health and Animal Protection Service. The purpose of the annual serological screening is to ascertain the integrity status of the farm, as well as the basis for the decision whether or not to vaccinate the different animals. It is compulsory for all of livestock farms in the territory.
The Decree further sets up the conditions upon which a cattle herd is considered free from IBR and establishes measures to fight against the disease.
