Abstract
The Decret 50/2025 establishes a new regulation on granting aid for promoting quality schemes for agricultural and food products.
The regulation repeals the previous Decret 101/2024 to improve legal clarity and update aid amounts in line with inflation (IPC +2.6% for 2024).
It aims to support farmers and legally constituted producer groups who produce and market products under official controlled quality labels. Eligible products include controlled-quality meat (bovine, ovine, caprine, equine) and IGP "Carn d’Andorra" meat, controlled-quality wine, potatoes ("trumfa"), and honey/apiculture products.
Direct aid is granted per animal slaughtered, per hectare of vineyard or potato cultivation (with modulation based on slope), and per live beehive (minimum 10, maximum 150). Indirect aid covers state financing of inspection, certification, labelling, and promotion activities.
The Ministry of Agriculture manages and controls the aid through documentary checks and on-site inspections. Payments are generally annual (quarterly for meat).
