Abstract
This Law consisting of 23 articles aims at maintaining the animal’s health during the implementation of the program on the prevention and control of animal diseases. The Law provides for (i) measures to be taken in case of noticing, suspecting or being notified of the animal’s disease by the animal owner and, in particular, if one of the diseases included in the attached list is diagnosed; (ii) declaration of infected zone and declaration of disease-free zone; (iii) media communication; (iv) prevention procedures for animal diseases to be conducted in cooperation between the Minister of Environment and Water and the local authority concerned about animal health; (v) control on animal diseases, including isolation of the animal, sending, import, or carrying out scientific tests of pathological samples, disposal or trading of sick or dead animals; and (vi) veterinarian procedures.
In the Annex are listed the Diseases that shall be reported. This list has been amended in 2017 by adding the Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever, as shown by the English version of the Law.

This Law enters into force 6 months after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Notes
The English version of the Law is the Law as amended by Ministerial Decision No.275 of 2017 by adding a new paragraph under No.39 of the table of the contagious and epidemic animal diseases.
