Abstract
This Act amends the Antigua and Barbuda Development Bank Act in section 5 with respect to powers of the Bank.
The amendment adds various powers including: to accept on deposit any funds or securities of from the Government, from any public or statutory authority, cooperative or any person or body whether within or outside Antigua and Barbuda and to make all payments duly authorized by any depositor with the Bank; to make loans or advances or provide any form of credit to the Government, any public or statutory body or to any person, corporation, company, society or body within or outside Antigua and Barbuda; and to negotiate loans or advances or any form of credit with any person or body for or on behalf of the Government or any public, statutory or other body.
