Abstract
These Regulations place restrictions on the use of specified methods of fishing in all waters of Antigua and Barbuda. They declare fishing with, or attempting to fish with, a seine net with a mesh opening smaller than a specified size, a gill net with a mesh opening of smaller than a specified size, a fish pot made of wire or similar netting and having openings smaller than a prescribed size, to be an offence. The prohibition does not apply to seine nets used for shrimp fishing provided that the net used is of a certain size and has a minimum specified opening of mesh.
