Abstract
This Act amends the National Solid Waste Management Authority Act 1995 by inserting various new definitions, by redefining the tasks of the National Solid Waste Management Authority, by providing for the Strategic Plan and by redefining regulation-making powers of the Minister and enforcement powers of authorized officers. Two new Schedules are added. The Authority shall develop a Strategic Plan for solid waste, to be submitted to the Cabinet and an operational plan regarding its activities.
