Shipping (Survey) Regulations, 2008 (No. 30 of 2008).

These Regulations make provision for the survey of large passenger and cargo ships. They specify rules relative to survey of radio installations, ship structure and equipment. There shall be seven types of survey, i.e. initial survey, renewal survey, periodical survey, intermediate survey, annual survey, inspection of the ship's outside and bottom and additional survey.
