Decision N. 639, dated 14 May 2008 on the structure, functioning and determination of the necessary documentation acceptance and evaluation criteria of obligations of certification bodies.

This Decision, based on the provisions of the Albanian Law No. 9199 on the production, processing, certification and trade of organic products, determines that the State Commission for Organic Production registers the certification body (private or state, local or foreign), which operates within the territory of the Republic of Albania, qualified in the fields of plant and animal production, collection of spontaneous products, processing or any combination of these activities, to certify a "BIO" product, for the domestic market and for export.
