Decision No.942 dated 17.11.2010 approving the procedures and the documentation required for mineral permits in open areas.

The application and the supporting documents for mineral permits are submitted to the National Center of Licensing which submits everything electronically for further examinations to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Energetics, National Agency of Natural Resources (NANR) and Albanian Geological Service (AGS). The assessment of permits for digging is done by the AGS while the exploitation permits are assessed by the NANR. The decision lays out the list of documents required to be submitted and several annexes for the permits’ forms and the respective assessment acts.
