Abstract
The Guideline lays down rules and procedures for reducing and preventing the harmful effects of environmental noises by identifying the exposure sources via usage of noise maps, informing the public accordingly and implementing action plans especially when the noise levels are harmful for human health. Five addenda are attached to the guideline: Noise Indicators (I), Evaluation Methods for Noise Indicators (II), Methods for Evaluation of Harmful Effects (III), Minimal Requirements of Noise Strategic Map (IV), and Minimum Requirements for Action Plans (V).
