Abstract
This Law amends and adds various provisions to the Law no. 8102, dated 28.3.1996 "on the regulatory framework of the water supply sector and the removal and processing of polluted water". Changes are regarding the contents of articles 2 (Definitions), 9 (Regulatory body procedural matters), 10 (funding sources of the Regulatory Entity), 12 (General Powers and Duties of the Government Relating to the Water Supply Sector), 13 (General Duties of the Commission), 14 (General Powers of the Commission), 15 (Natural or legal persons, who deal with the activity of collection, distribution, removal and treatment of water, for public benefit, must be provided with a license from ERRU), 21 (Restrictions on Licenses and Licensees), 22 (Annual accounts of licensees), 23 (Tariff Standards), 25 (Orders for Securing Compliance), 29 (Regulations), 30 (Investigations) and 32 (Procedures).
