Law No. 10050 amending Law No. 8990 of 2003 on Environmental Impact Assessment.

These provisions amend Law No. 8990 of 2003 on Environmental Impact Assessment by repealing paragraph 3 of article 15, according to which the projects that need an in-depth Environmental Impact Assessment must be examined within three months from the date that the regional environmental agency has submitted the request to the Ministry of Environment, whilst the projects that need a summarized environmental assessment must be examined within two months. These new provisions do not establish any deadline.
