Abstract
These provisions supplement Law No. 9235 of 2004 with regard to the land rented to those commercial enterprises in which the State is a shareholder. In these cases, the Department of the Public Property Administration under the Ministry of Finance may sell lands at the market price when it is necessary for the exercise of its functions within the enterprise, in compliance with the criteria established by the Council of Ministers; whilst the rest of the land, if any, may be restituted to former owners. If the former owner has already been acknowledged, the income deriving from land selling goes to him. In case the enterprise rejects the land purchase, the land is then restituted to the former owner.
