Law No. 105/2015 amending and supplementing Law No. 10416 of 7.4.2011 ‘On Plant Genetic Material’.

This Law 105/2015 amends articles 3, 27, 31, 33, 41, 42, and 54 of Law 10416 of 2011. The changes mainly concern the regulatory framework for the import of foreign plant genetic material. According to the changes the import should be accompanied with documents in both Albanian and English, the supplier should submit official documentation from the importing state to the State Entity for Seeds and Saplings to verify the main characteristics of the material and the tests for uniformity and stability. The fees and penalties for administrative infringements of the Law are also revised.
