Abstract
This Law amends Law No. 7664 on Environmental Protection. It consists of 20 articles defining hazardous substances and wastes in order to preserve and control the environmental sector. It establishes institutions entitled to: carry out controls on environmental pollution; issue licence to who intends to perform activities involved in this sector; specify zones and limits in which polluted materials and hazardous substance must be disposed; etc. Fines for illegal activity are specified in the text.
