Abstract
This Law provides rules and procedures for processing, transporting and trading crude oil, gas and their by-products. According to this Law, legal entities shall be classified as follows: (a) entities that own oil refineries that process crude oil; (b) entities that own oil and gas pipelines which conduct business of transporting crude oil and natural gas (Category 0); (c) wholesale companies that conduct business of wholesale of crude oil, gas and their by-products; (d) entities that own gas stations that conduct the activity of trading fuel for vehicles; (e) entities that conduct business of trading of combustible substances for consumer heating. Legal entities are required to be provided with a concession licence, trading licence, or authorization before starting to conduct an activity of processing, transporting and trading crude oil.
