Abstract
This Law lays down rules for categorization of the production and marketing of olive oil and olive reside and is applicable in all stages of production, processing, packaging, labelling, conservation, and trade of olive oil and olive pulp. The National Food Authority is the responsible entity for the law enforcement.
This Law takes into account the model of Council of Europe Regulation 1234/2007 dated 22 October 2007 and the EU Commission Regulation 29/2012 dated 13 January 2012.
