Law No. 9219 amending and supplementing Law No. 7875 of 1994 on hunting and protection of wildlife.

This Law lays down amendments and addenda to Law No. 7875 on hunting and wildlife protection. It establishes the National Council for Hunting and Wildlife at the General Directorate of Forestry and Pastures. Its main tasks include the approval of fauna and hunting development programmes, wildlife management plans, wildlife development projects, the hunting calendar, as well as inspection of the forestry service directorates for wildlife protection and hunting. Further amendments concern administrative sanctions to be applied in case of infringement.
