Law No. 9972 on Natural Gas Sector.

The purpose of this Law is to establish the legal framework for the development and regulation of the natural gas sector of the Republic of Albania. It establishes policies, standards, and procedures for the organization and regulation of the natural gas market and natural gas activities (i.e. production, transmission, distribution, storage, supply, consumption of natural gas and the construction and operation of the natural gas infrastructures) including the rights and liabilities of natural and legal persons relating to those activities.
