Law Nr. 57/2012 on ending the process of transfer of ownership of agricultural land to beneficiaries of former agricultural enterprises.

This Law aims to complete the legal procedures for the transfer of ownership of agricultural land without compensation to former agricultural enterprises, beneficiaries according to Law no. 8053, dated 21.12.1995 "On the transfer of ownership without remuneration of agricultural land", who have not made the transfer of ownership, according to the conditions and procedures defined in this Law. This Law shall apply to the following: a) Agricultural families or individuals, who are beneficiaries of agricultural land, according to decision no. 452 dated 17.10.1992 of the Council of Ministers "On the restructuring of agricultural enterprises" (see article 2 for major details); b) Agricultural families or individuals, who have moved from their residential centers and settled in the territories of former agricultural enterprises with special decisions of the Council of Ministers, according to which they are beneficiaries of agricultural land in use or ownership and use the land for agricultural activities, but have deficiencies in completing the documentation of use or ownership.
