Order no. 117, dated 19 January 2023 on the authorization of state aid "For a multi-year management plan for sustainable bottom fishing in the Adriatic Sea (geographical sub-areas 17 and 18).

This Order, in accordance with the requirements deriving from the Law No. 9093, dated 3 May 2003 on the ratification of "The Agreement on the creation of the General fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean", here proclaims the implementation of the recommendation GFCM/43/2019/5 of the General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean, "For a multi-year management plan for sustainable demersal fisheries in the Adriatic Sea (geographic subareas 17 and 18)", which is attached to this text. The effort quota expressed in fishing days changes on an annual basis according to the recommendations of the General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean. All demersal vessels fishing for demersal fish may not not exceed 21420 fishing days per year 2024, divided by fleet segment, in accordance with point 4 of this Order.
