Regulation No. 1443 on the establishment, organization and functioning as payment agency of the Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development (AARD).

This Regulation sets up the Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development (AARD) and lays down rules on its organization and functioning. The AARD functions at both central and local levels and is responsible for the administration of funds for agriculture and rural development as foreseen in the State budget. The rules of procedure and internal functioning of the AARD as well as the coordination of tasks, responsibilities and competences with regional agricultural departments will be layed down in a separate guideline of the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Protection.
