Regulation No. 202 amending and supplementing Regulation No. 547 of 2006 on the establishment of the National Agency of Natural Resources.

This Regulation amends and supplements the tasks and responsibilities of the National Agency of Natural Resources specified under Regulation No. 546 of 2006. In particular, the Agency operates as a specialized consulting body under the Minister of Energy on policies and strategies in this area. It promotes the use of renewable energy resources and proposes measures to increase the energy exploitation in the energy cycle. Moreover, the Agency is in charge of the elaboration and publication of the annual energetic balance according to the requirements prescribed by EUROSTAT and the International Energy Agency.
