Abstract
This Regulation lays down the basic requirements concerning the safeguarding of the radioactive resources and it is applicable to all activities related to possession, usage, storage and transportation of radioactive resources. Harming activities include stealing and unauthorized displacement of radioactive resources, and sabotaging of their installations. During the licensing process the Commission for the Protection from Radiation assesses the safety aspects of applications and the safeguarding plan that should be part of the application.
