Abstract
The Parties shall cooperate in the sphere of exposure of the use of false trademarks and indications of place of origin and repression thereof, prevention of the introduction on the national territory of commodities with false trademarks and indications of place of origin (art. 2). The Parties shall carry out joint preventive and repressive arrangements (art. 3). The Parties shall grant legal protection of the indications of place of origin to the interested parties (art. 4). The Parties shall refuse registration of trademark, transfer of rights thereto or repeal registration of trademark containing indications of place of origin for commodities not coming from a specific region if such an indication confuses the consumers as regards the real place of origin of the aforesaid commodities (art. 5). The Parties shall prevent registration of indications of place of origin of wines and spirits which do not originate in the geographical area, and even when the true origin of wine is indicated, the geographical indication is used in translation or accompanied by terms “kind”, “type”, “style”, “imitation” or other expressions of the sort (art. 7).

Notes
This Agreement shall be valid for five years and it will be automatically extended for another five-year period unless otherwise decided by the Contracting Parties.
