Government Decision N 986-N establishing the procedure for assessment of reserve of underground water resources.

This Government Decision regulates the assessment of reserve of underground water sources in order to provide the population with drinking water in emergency situations. The water intake of underground reserve sources is operated by the decision of the Government, in the presence of a water use permit and a well exploitation contract. The Ministry of Environment submits information about underground reserve sources to the Emergency Situations Department under the Government once every six months in order to develop action plans to provide drinking water to the population in case of emergencies.
