Government Decision No. 57-N amending Government Decision No. 927-N “On assessment of the estimates of water demand for domestic drinking purposes, agricultural purposes, as well as water discharges into environment according to the basin areas of the Republic of Armenia”.

In order to determine water discharge into rivers with hydrological observation points, it is necessary to determine: (a) monthly and seasonal natural flows in the hydrological observation point, taking into account the feeding and seasonal features of the rivers; (b) multi-year average and minimum monthly outputs for the entire year selected from the series of natural monthly outputs; (c) when determining the value of water discharge into environment in the areas of the currently operating hydrological observation points of the rivers, the average discharge of 10 consecutive days with the lowest discharge in the perennial winter period is taken as a basis; and (d) water discharge values of the hydrological seasons (December-February, March-June, July-November) are calculated using the monthly environmental water discharge values.
