Governmental Decision No. 473-N “On implementation of economic activities for the restoration of Sevan Lake ecosystem”.

This Governmental Decision establishes that economic activity may be carried out in Sevan Lake for the implementation of a comprehensive program for the restoration of trout stocks and the development of fishfarming on the basis of: (a) scientific research; (b) establishment of reticulated farms, the dividends of which are directed exclusively to the Fund for the Restoration of the Trout and the Fisheries Development Fund; and (c) organization of net cage farms for the purpose of fish farming in Sevan Lake. It sets forth engineering and technical standards for the main fishfarming equipment meeting the ecological requirements of Sevan Lake, indicates location for fishfarming enterprises and authorizes fish breeding exclusively of endemic fish species of Sevan Lake.
