Governmental Decree N 2122-N "On approving the procedure for importing seed crops into RA and exporting seed crops from RA".

This Governmental Decree defines the procedure for import of crop seeds to the Republic of Armenia and their export from the Republic of Armenia. Legal entities and natural persons importing crop seeds to the Republic of Armenia and exporting them from the Republic of Armenia shall be registered in the register of certified seed producers, importers and exporters in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia. The provisions of this order do not apply to research seeds, variety experiments, seeds of crops imported to the Republic of Armenia for personal needs, exported from the Republic of Armenia. Crop seeds for personal needs may be imported to the Republic of Armenia and exported from the Republic of Armenia for research related to variety testing. Seeds are imported to the Republic of Armenia in sealed (sealed) and labelled packages (containers). Each batch of crop seeds imported to the Republic of Armenia shall be accompanied by the following documents issued by the competent organization of the exporting country: (a) certificates of quality affiliation of crop seeds and quality indicators; (b) import phytosanitary certificate. The batch of crop seeds shall be subjected to phytosanitary inspection at the import border in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
