Abstract
This Decree approves the Regulation on Oil exploitation. This Regulation, consisting of 8 Chapters, aims at regulating the above mentioned activity and all the procedures related with crude oil and natural gas, including tariffs, environmental safety and protection as well as controls and inspections to be carried out by competent authorities. This Decree applies to oil extraction from land or sea in the context of the oil operations prescribed by Law No. 10/04. Sanctions are prescribed for illegal activity.
