Abstract
This Presidential Decree, consisting of 6 articles and 1 Annex, establishes terms and conditions applicable to the oil exploitation activities within the Target Development Areas. It includes spaces whose studies show that there is potential for exploitation, to enable additional resources under a concession regime with a view to maximizing the production. This Presidential Decree applies to the Development Target Areas. Although, the Ministerial Department that oversees the oil industry on a proposal of the National Concessionaire, may refer the appreciation of the Government to include other areas as Target Development Areas, giving them the same benefits. The Annex specifies Target Development Areas; Prospects; and Oil in million/barrils "oil in place".
