Executive Decree n. 406/17 creating and approving the Regulation of the Social Solidarity Basket.

This Executive Decree, approves the Regulation of the Social Solidarity Basket. The Regulation, consisting of 14 articles divided into three Chapters, establishes this platform that coordinates, articulates and directs assistance to needy populations provided by singular and collective actors, with a view to creating a regular and permanent national solidarity for all those in vulnerable situations with the institutional support through the Institute for the Promotion and Coordination of Aid to Communities (IPROCAC). The Social Solidarity Basket is a project that is part of the Social Support Programme, aimed to alleviate poverty and vulnerability with the purpose of bringing together citizens' initiatives promoting a participatory, solidary society engaged in voluntary work. The adoption and implementation of the Social Solidarity Basket has the general objective of helping to combat poverty and social vulnerability by strengthening solidarity mechanisms and promoting the values of volunteering.
