Executive Decree No. 97/21 approving the Regulation of the Social Solidarity Basket (BSS).

This Executive Decree, approves the Regulation of the Social Solidarity Basket (BSS). The Regulation, consisting of 18 articles divided into three Chapters, regulates this platform that coordinates, articulates and guides donations and supports to vulnerable populations. Donations are provided by singular and collective actors, with a view to creating a regular and permanent national solidarity movement. BSS's scope of action is to bring together organizations, companies and individuals, aiming to mitigate poverty and vulnerability, through citizens' initiatives to promote a participatory and solidary society engaged in volunteering at a national level. The general objective of BSS is to contribute to the fight against poverty of vulnerable groups, through the implementation of solidarity actions and the promotion of the values of volunteering.
