Executive Decree No. 497/18 approving the Regulation of the Directive Council of Mineral Resources and Petroleum.

This Executive Decree approves the Regulation of the Directive Council of Mineral Resources and Petroleum. This Regulation, consisting of three Chapters, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Council, which is the periodic consultation body of the related Ministerial Department. The Council is responsible to perform the following activities: a) give advice on the General Policy issues of the Ministry and the Sector; b) evaluate the activity of the organs of the Ministry; e) give advice on the internal organization of the Ministry; d) assess the performance of the companies of the Sector and the superintended bodies; e) give advice on practical questions that have influence in the good operation of the ministerial services; j) give opinions on draft laws related to the sectoral activity; g) give advice on the economic-social projects financed by the sector; etc.
