Executive Decree No. 535/15 approving the Regulation of the Forestry Development Institution (IDF).

This Presidential Decree approves the Regulation of the Forestry Development Institution (IDF). This Regulation, consisting of four Chapters, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned institution as a legal entity, entitled to support the formulation and implement the national forestry policy, fulfilling its objectives in forestry management, production, hunting and apiculture; undertake an extension of a forest management and qualified apiculture within forestry public and community spaces of the country; to ensure and monitor the implementation of the flora development projects outside of conservation areas; to monitor the execution of forest management plans, apiculture out of areas of forestry concession; to licensing activities of forestry and fauna exploration, through import and export of forestry and fauna products and by-products, according to the national legislation. This Institution, created to ensure the promotion, coordination and implementation of the policies drawn up in the following sectors: forestry, fauna, rural and technology transfer development.
