Presidential Decree No. 5/14 approving the Statute of the Forestry Development Institution (IDF).

This Presidential Decree approves the Statute of the Forestry Development Institution (IDF). The Statute, consisting of 5 Chapters and 2 Annexes, approves the above mentioned Institution, created for guaranteeing the promotion, coordination, implementation of policies on the forestry, fauna, rural and technical development transfers. This Institution aims at: support the elaboration and implementation the National Policy on Forestry, in the domain of forestry management, forestry production, hunting and apiculture; promoting the extension of a better forestry, fauna and apiculture management; guaranteeing the implementation of development projects related to flora and fauna out of conservation areas; assisting the implementation of forestry, fauna and apiculture management plans within the forestry concession areas; forestry licensing etc.
