Abstract
This Executive Decree approves the Regulation of the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Petroleum. This Regulation, consisting of 14 articles divided into three Chapters and 2 Annexes, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Secretariat, as a technical support service responsible for recording, monitoring and handling administrative, financial and logistical issues common to all other services of the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Petroleum and Gas, namely dealing with budget, property and public relations. In particular, its duties are: a) Collaborate with the Office of Studies, Planning and Statistics, in the preparation of the Ministry's budget project; b) Perform accounting and financial tasks relating to personnel and property, drawing up treasury balances, records and requisitions; e) Prepare the Ministry's budget execution report; d) Propose measures to improve the management of the Ministry's assets; e) Perform functions of common utility to the various bodies and services of the Ministry, especially in the domain of facilities, social service, public relations, etc
