Presidential Decree No. 139/13 approving the Regulation for Continental Fisheries.

This Presidential Decree, consisting of 11 Chapters, divided into 35 articles, approves the Regulation for Continental Fisheries. It establishes norms regulating fishing activities within continental freshwaters under the jurisdiction of the Republic of Angola. It applies to all National individuals, cooperatives or associations, who perform any activities related to fisheries sector. it also provides for preservation measures to protect fisheries resources, authorized species, their specificity and methods to measure them, artisanal fishing gear, concession of fishing rights, registration of fishing vessels and the regime of inspection offences and penalties.
